FearFest-Evil is an outdoor scare event and will go ahead rain or shine (subject to severe weather warnings and safety considerations). The event takes place during October and it is likely to be cold and/or wet.

The Scare zones are built around a disused limestone quarry, railway track and woodland and as such the walkways are stoney, uneven and muddy in places. Therefore it is essential that you wear sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing. We cannot promise you won’t damage your clothing or footwear or get blood or gore on you!! Run Run Run… The night creatures can be pretty brutal!

There will be enclosed spaces and tunnels. This will include sections that you will need to crawl on your hands and knees.

FearFest-Evil is set around a disused railway line, with uneven and muddy ground. Visitors must be able to walk un-aided and have good levels of health and fitness to take part in this event. We regret that due to the nature of this event wheelchair access is not possible. You must advise us immediately after booking if you have someone in your group with any access issues and we will liaise with you to assess if their visit is feasible.
For safety reasons we need to be able to differentiate guests from our live scare-actors and crew. Costumes and limited makeup are great and allowed, but nothing that fully covers your face, making you indistinguishable from our live actors to either our staff or other guests. You will not be allowed into the FearFest-Evil event if you are wearing a full head mask, half face mask or face prosthetics. If you have any queries about your particular costume please get in touch
